“My name is Durga Limbu and I am from Nepal. I am a stay-at-home mom and I mostly weave as recreation. I started weaving long time ago. Perhaps, I was in my early 20s. I weave hats, bags, and home-decor. Weaving to me is a way of sharing my capabilities to other in a form of art. In the future, I hope to teach people about my culture and traditions through weaving.”

“Working with Wave Pool [in 2022] has given me the opportunity to collaborate new with people, reach new milestones as an artist and be welcomed into the Camp Washington community. I had the opportunity to collaborate with Simone Yale, creating installations for the group show C.R.A.S.H.. While simultaneously building a relationship with the women of Broken into Beautiful to create a mural along side the Owning Your Own Voice project. I was able to tell their stories through S0FT GH0ST, and give them a chance to be seen by the community in a new way.”
