Wave Pool is pleased to present an exhibition of works by Sharareh Khosravani in our upstairs gallery, opening Janaury 28th and remaining on view until February 12th.
Violence and fear are common threads through the series of work on view, and are based on historical and psychological trauma. Concurrently, the work deals with feminism, violence, and censorship and lead to an exploration of depression, anxiety, and fear. The works take the form of installation art and performance pieces.
Sharareh Khosravani is originally from Iran and graduated from University of Cincinnati with her MFA in 2014. Sharareh’s work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in the US, Iran, Italy, Germany, Japan, Denmark, Korea, Serbia, Slovakia and UAE.
Khrosravani's exhibition will be shown concurrently with "The Personal Is Political: Art from the Sara M. and Michelle Vance Waddell Collection" in Wave Pool's main gallery.
