1628 Ltd. and Wave Pool are pleased to present an art exhibit - Elevate: Celebrating Inspiring Art, which highlights the works of eleven artists. The exhibit features works from 1628 Ltd’s permanent collection in addition to featuring artists from Wave Pool’s Corporate Art Loan Program. The corporate art loan program affords businesses the opportunity to have original art displayed in their office spaces while investing in the visual arts of the city by directly supporting the artists that live and work in our region.
Tamara Schwarting, 1628’s founder, has been a life-long supporter of the arts. When developing and launching the 1628 curated coworking concept it was important to Schwarting to create and inspiring environment filled with evocative works of art. Schwarting’s belief is that regardless of your profession, all individuals are called upon to come up with creative solutions and being surrounded by inspiring art helps in the process. The refined environment of 1628 rests on the benefits inherent to a thoughtfully designed boutique hotel with concierge services. The location in Cincinnati’s central business district makes it an easy destination for both Cincinnati based professionals and business travelers.
Elevate is curated by Calcagno Cullen and Tamara Schwarting, and is on view at 1628 Ltd’s downtown location until April 30th. The general public is welcome to view the exhibit at a reception on the evening of March 30th. The March 30th reception will also feature a hands-on printmaking workshop with artist Valerie Allen.
