Multidisciplinary artist Edward-Victor Sanchez will enact a participatory activation/performance with his multimedia, site-specific installation entitled "Ongoing aftermath" currently on view at Wave Pool, as part of The Blue Tarp exhibition. Sanchez, a Puerto Rican artist, notes that more than 2 years after Hurricane Maria's traumatic devastation, not only are many on the island still contending with lack of roofs, electricity, or even infrastructure to move about the island freely—the ongoing psychological impact of such devastation behooves us to take some kind of action.
