Igniting Community and Connectivity via Asset-Based Creative Placemaking

Join Wave Pool Founder/Executive Director Cal Cullen for an interactive brainstorm on asset-based creative placemaking. Learn how Wave Pool is transforming the Cincinnati neighborhood Camp Washington through accessible art that becomes part of a community’s daily fabric. Take part in a design exercise and leave the session with new ideas around connecting neighborhood assets, the value of inclusive decision-making as well as a tangible tool for implementing asset-based, creative placemaking in how you create, live and work.

At the Good Discovery(s) Festival, creativity will ignite Cincinnati. By the end of Good Discovery(s), you’ll leave knowing that Cincinnati is a hub for civic design and civic tech. Stories will become action steps that you can implement in your own projects and work. Experience a day of activations, brainstorms, design sprints, keynote talks and panels in celebration of civic designers working to make a positive impact in key sectors including art, education, food and healthcare.

Attend Good Discovery(s), the latest design experience from the team that brought you Cincinnati’s First Podcast Festival. More information here.
