Snow Yu, Mark Albain, and Intermedio explore intimate encounters through a considerate study of the everyday.

“Sentiments of Here” is a multimedia exhibition comprised of sound, video, and a photographic installation that highlights subtle sensory experiences inspired by the banalities of the Midwest. The artists delve into themes of memory and feeling to create resonate spaces that produce sensations of nostalgia, longing, and mood.

A combination of sound and found object, Intermedio uses a mix of field recordings and synthesis that will activate an extracted piano harp. Mark Albain will create a sight specific installation with photographs inspired by observations that incite intimacy from his surroundings. Snow Yu’s video depicts desolate roadside scenes that explore her interest in fleeting connections to the natural world.
