We’ll use art and music to envision our dream neighborhood as we explore landmarks in our own. Join camp counselors Dana Hamblen and Julia Lipovsky for visits to the American Sign Museum, CampSITE Sculpture Park, Mom n Em, the Swing House, and, of course, Wave Pool and The Welcome Project. Campers will unlock a sense of possibility as they use their imaginations to navigate our beloved Camp Washington.
Dana Hamblen has lived in Camp Washington for 14 years. She is a drummer and bassist for multiple bands in Cincinnati and has the most enviable collection of props and clothing from her time running the vintage shop Chicken Lays and Egg.
Julia Lipovsky has lived in Camp Washington since 2016 and has taught inclusive arts programs for Visionaries + Voices, the Contemporary Arts Center, Kennedy Heights Arts Center, and Camp cARTwheel.
