Third Thirsty Thursday Art Salons

  • The Welcome Project 2936 Colerain Avenue Cincinnati, OH, 45225 United States (map)

An Italian invention of the 16th century, Art Salons were gatherings of people held by an inspiring host, with the aim of amusing and educating participants via conversation, food and drink. Historically, art salons thrive during periods of fervent change and upheaval—acting as theaters of conversation and exchange within the public sphere for people to discuss and debate robust and nuanced topics.

Art Salon host Paloma Correa has invited Co-Op Cincy’s Executive Director Kristen Barker for March’s monthly collective conversation.

March’s big subject is HORIZONTALLY STRUCTURED ORGANIZATIONS and new paradigms that seek an alternative to the traditional hierarchy via self-management practices that unleash the potential for all individuals in the organization to sense and respond to opportunities and challenges effectively.

Bring a friend, an open mind, and we'll have pretzels from Tall’s Bread and refreshments available for purchase to help get the ball rolling!
