An Italian invention of the 16th century, Art Salons were gatherings of people held by an inspiring host, with the aim of amusing and educating participants via conversation, food and drink. 

Historically, art salons thrive during periods of fervent change and upheaval—acting as theaters of conversation and exchange within the public sphere for people to discuss and debate robust and nuanced topics. 

July’s big topic is Astrology with Sarah Kokenge.

Astrology is the language of energy. It is the means by which the Universe communicates with our human experience — here on Earth — through the planets and stars.

Sarah Kokenge has been an astrologer for almost 20 years. She lived the first part of her life as a left-brained, logical, analytical, rational person and has been working to embrace and develop her more intuitive, creative, emotional, right-brained self. Her astrological consultations are spiritually based. She is also a Hospice volunteer and an End of Life Doula.
