Take your woodworking to the next level!

In this intermediate class we will be making a 3 tiered shelving unit specifically for plants that will fit perfectly in a corner space or along any room wall. The design is still to come though you can expect to have individual freedoms from the design when it comes to the shape of the plant platforms and the placement of shelves along the skeletal structure that will hold the 3 plant shelves. With this project you will need to supply your own wood and the type of hardwood will be of your own choice. Wood will need to be bought before class. Those who sign up will be given an email a week before class describing how much board foot will be need for this project. It will be minimal as the structure is not that large. We will be using all the major power tools experienced in the beginners class as well as some opportunities for some hand cut joints that will be located within the skeletal structure holding the shelves. I expect every student will walk away with a unique plant stand of their own making. I look forward to having you all back in class. See you soon!
