Unsure of the path that your art is leading you?  Join us the first Saturday afternoons of the month to share your experiences as an artist. We start with a special activity, guest speaker, or discussion topic before diving into the queries of those in attendance.  Attendees and participants can offer constructive critiques of your work, but ultimately these monthly meetings are catered to you and your needs, and are intended to be a safe space to share and network. If you just need a push forward, we're also happy to give you unabashed encouragement as well!

For January’s activity, we’ll be starting off the new year by reframing the language of our Artist Statements. Join Wave Pool’s Director of Exhibitions in a working meeting, where we will write (or re-write/revise) our Artist Statements.

Please bring in any language you already have (can be just a link to your artist statement online); some inspirational quotes from other artist statements you like; and whatever writing implements (beyond a pen/pencil and paper, which we can provide)to help give your work the supportive voice it needs going forward.
