A special iteration of our regular Sewing Workshop, this mending program, (designed and led by Laura Glassman of Heartfelt Tidbits,) will be co-hosted by Lunaz, an artist featured in "The Gift".
During the first hour, participants will learn the basics of sewing and repairing that favorite shirt or pair of jeans at The Welcome Project. In the second hour, participants will join Lunaz to learn about and create their own embroidery in the shape of a red poppy: a symbol of remembrance and hope.
