For the closing of the exhibition “The New Historiographic Atlas,” Artist in Residence Yohanna M Roa will host a two-hour workshop where the artist, along with the participants, will activate the participatory textile mural, “Misshaping The Pattern.” The objective is to recover and preserve the memory of women. Those interested in participating in the embroidery workshop can either bring in a photograph of a relevant woman in their life to embroider, or send it by email (to wavepoolgallery at gmail.com) to add to the large-scale textile mural exhibited in the gallery on the second floor. A final closing performance will conclude the program.
