Join us for a closing reception for Defend the Sacred, our FotoFocus supported exhibition at Welcome.

Defend the Sacred offers an exploration of spiritual heritage as seen through the lens of BIPOC photographers from across the Americas. It navigates essential themes such as family, gender, spirituality, land, and language, allowing each artist to share their personal experience with the sacred.

This evening features a special Curator Talk and video presentation from guest curator Viktor Maco. Participating local artist, Adbellah Hamouma, will also be in attendance. We invite you to join us for a night of art and deep conversations over handmade empanadas, made by Julia O. Bianco.
