Parkway Center partners with Wave Pool and @welcome_wavepoolartcenter to bring back our Soup & Stories program, every Thursday evening in June!

This inspiring series of healing stories, shared by courageous individuals who are on the path to recovery from substance use disorder, happens over a comforting meal, selected by the storyteller.

Spearhead by Welcome’s MATCH 2024 Fellow, Asha White participants of Wave Pool’s Owning Your Own Voice program will serve free hot meals at the Welcome Project while sharing their stories in an effort to increase access to treatment, empower both speakers and visitors, as well as connect those interested in recovery with support.

Space is limited and representatives and experts from addiction services will be on hand to assist visitors towards direct service and care needs. In order to save space for folks in recovery to attend, the Eventbrite links will open beginning Tuesdays prior to each Thursday meal.
