Every Wednesday April through September of 2022, women from Owning Your Own Voice program with Broken into Beauty, along with a rotating immigrant chef, served free soup at The Welcome Project while sharing their stories in an effort to reduce stigma, empower the speakers and visitors, and connect those interested in recovery to assistance. Caracole, an AIDS Service Organization in Northside, was also present on the Second Wednesdays of each month to direct visitors towards direct service and care needs.
